Barry Maple
I started jumping about 11 years ago in the military, with the PWRR (Princess of Wales’ Royal Regiment) where I was a member of the “Tiger’s Freefall Parachute Display Team”. Our main role was to perform displays and demos at fates, fairs, and football stadiums. Since leaving the military I have been a professional skydiver and a stunt man. I have enjoyed both teaching and competing within several different skydiving disciplines. In recent years I have focused on teaching, and have accumulated about 4000 jumps in total, with over half of these teaching the accelerated freefall course. My main passion within the sport is to teach, and seeing my students progress and graduate. I’m also only 29 years old, which means I’m one of the most qualified people in the UK for my age.
Outside of skydiving, I am also a qualified fitness instructor (and fully first aid trained), and enjoy fishing, cycling, and snowboarding. I have also owned horses in the past and love riding them. Please feel free to contact me should you wish to carry out some fitness training before or during your holiday.
